Global Scale Modeller

Hi All

I'm looking at getting the above product and just wondered if any of you guys use one and what you think of it.

I will be using it in a spare bedroom and wondered how much odour does it extract (don't want to sink the house out) and do I need to drill a hole in the wall for the vent or can I simply run it out of an open window.
