Tamiya 1/32 A6M5 Zero (Zeke)

I seem to have run out of steam on a couple of other builds so I have cracked this one open. I was going to have a bash at the "Warring Weather" group build but the subjects I have available were already covered..

Its a 1/32 scale Tamiya, is there any point in even photographing all the sprues while going on about how beautifully made it is ?



Bear with me while I either complete it or destroy it.

Not the same model but its largely the same aircraft, to me anyway.

got a few of the cockpit sub-assemblies done then a busted air compressor delayed progress

the fit is really outstanding. i think i was laughing at some point the fit of even the smallest parts was so good.. i'm guessing nobody really wants to see cockpit walls unpainted and mounted on cocktail sticks

new compressor coming next week though

Got some work done so here's some cockpit parts all stuck together, painted and they have had a coat of aqua gloss. Going to do a wash on them once that dries / cures.

Looking good. These tamiya 1/32nd kits ara a pleasure to do. Plenty of detail to keep it interesting through the whole build.

Yeah., you dont realise how much you use the compresser till it's not there. Bummer.
