Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

Mitches Models 200mm resin RAF pilot

Amazing kit, beautiful detail. Its taken a fair bit of clean up and fettling to get it ready for painting but the base colours are now going on and its going well.

Sprayed with Vallejo primer, I usually use Ultimate primer but I needed a paler grey than the Ultimate product. There's a lot of texture on the kit so I wasn't worried about achieving a super smooth primer finish.

Paints used for the base colours are Tamiya and Vallejo. I'm brush painting the body, the only area to be sprayed during the initial painting phase will be the face. Straps, buckles and boots still to do, then I'll get onto the head.

Have been working on airfix 1/48 Hawker Hurricane MK1, sprayed with xtracrylix RAF dark green, dark earth and sky colours, now has a layer of Aqua Gloss ready for decals.

Have also added Eduard Brassin wheeles and exhausts from Quickboost, all has been primed with Ultimate black primer.

I'm also working on an Airfix 1:40 Hurricane Mk I for the Warring Weather GB, no aftermarket add-ons. I'm a bit farther along than the photo, but here you can actually see some of my work before it got buried in the fuselage!

Painting has been with my go to Stynylrez primer and Tamiya paints. Cockpit weathering is with oil washes. Hopefully by next Friday I'll have the exterior painted.

1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter TF Mk X by Al MacNeish

Almost finished - just the aerial wire to paint and props to chip/weather.

Primed with Ultimate Black through a Ultimate Apex at 25psi

Tamiya Acrylics thinned with Ultimate thinner throughout. Black basing (first time) using XF-21 Sky for the underside and XF-82 Ocean Gray (RAF) upper. Ultimate Apex used for blending the two main colours.

Alclad Aqua Gloss for the sealing coats.

Ultimate Dark Dirt wash upper surface and mixed with some Light Dirt wash for the underside.

Decals by Aviaeology depicting DR393 (PL-A) of 144 Sqn RAF Coastal Strike Wing, Dallachy Airfield probably around 1942.

Grubbiness is Tamiya X-19 Smoke and dots of oil paints blended.

Finished with Alclad Klear Kote matt finish.

This is my fourth completed build and I'm really happy with it. There are mistakes but it's my first use of the Apex and I have to say that airbrush is so forgiving. The fact that I can easily spray 10-month old re-branded Stynylrez with it whilst another far more experienced (American) modeller struggles speaks volumes. I will admit he's a dab hand at black basing though and I've learned a lot from him

This is an Accurate miniatures Grumman TBM-3 Avenger 1/48. I have added Edwards PE. Interior paint is MIG Ammo Zinc Chromate Interior Green. Exterior is Stynylrez Black Primer sprayed with an Apex.

I wanted it to LOOK more like a TBM-1 from 1942. So I removed the lower cooler intake and filled it in, changed it from 6 cowl flaps to 2 opened ones and added a cowl mounted machine gun by cutting the cowling and one flap and adding a sliced piece of tubing.
I taped the cowling together so I could see how it looks.

1/35 Tamiya M3 Stuart
No aftermarket
Primed in Ultimate Black
Sprayed in MM Olive Drab, then dry brushed with Vallejo Air Steel.
Other bits and bobs painted in various Tamiya acrylics.
Alclad Auqagloss used for gloss coat.

Next up will be a a sealer coat then weathering. Thinking to go with a North Africa theme.

Fun little tank, goes together quickly and looks alright.

Got my BFGs done for the Kotobukiya Zoid Liger Zero Panzer, armor sub-assemblies complete. Just to give you an idea of what this kit is like, there's a little over 70 parts in those two guns alone. Used some Alclad Magnesium, Mr Color greens from the Yamato 2199 color sets, and greys from Gaia Color (first time trying them out--they're pretty awesome). The guns and all the other armor parts in those bins need a gloss coat and weathering next...

Airfix 1/48 Lightning Mk1A. Has gone together very well, just a smidgen of filler needed here and there.

It just keeps getting bigger and bigger! For scale purposes, the paper its sitting on is A3, Wife has asked" and where do you think your keeping that!"! I suggested somewhere and now she's not talking to me! so little win there!

This week been pulling my hair out with these wings, found front and sides of wings not formed correctly and been lots of work to fit and fill them, just seems to be my kits the issues as other builders, dont seem to have the issue. Still loving this beast

Ultimate primers, Vallejo, Ammo Mig, Mr Hobby metals, and a shed load of Vallejo filler , Anyone suggest best filler for future use?

I am playing with light again

This is my Airfix 1/72 Westland Sea King Helicopter for FAA
The light inside is a cool little LED and I mean little....2mmx1.5mm prewired SMD (surface mount device)LED and it is bright as heck
Have white light, green light and red as well. So can do the floodlights, the cockpit dash and the port and starboard lights all with hair sized wires!
