Hasegawa 1/72 Sea Harrier FRS.1

Hi Ism,
Just posting my work i did before joining the forum,
You may have seen these before on some other sites,
The harrier is a very romantic and fascinating aircraft. It goes up, down, left right, like how a plane shouldn't do and has captured the imagination of many including yours truly. ;D Built with the uncompromising purpose of Vertical Take Off or Landing, its muscular brutal form evokes images of its animal namesake. The only other aircraft that comes close with its looks is the A-10; also built with uncompromising purpose of air support.
Ok, enough waxing lyrical, it's now pretty obvious I like Harriers and I have been itching to do one since I began modeling. Built the Sea Harrier since it was on sale when HW Japan closed shop (RIP...) Also it's my first plane kit built so it has some imperfections but I learnt a lot from it
Without further ado, here come the pics!
The predatory shape of the harrier is well shown from the front.
The decals were a mix of Hasegawa and Italeri Sea Harrier ones. I Regret using the Italeri ones since they were very translucent but sturdy. Hasegawa on the other hand had the usual edge in quality but were fragile.
The full weapons loadout of 2 sea eagle anti ship missiles and 2 sidewinders is installed, pretty much because it makes the Harrier look fierce.
Not particularly happy on the canopy and blue tint on the front windscreen. Learnt the hard way lacquer thinner and Future don't mix together!
Posing with a well worn copy of some Harrier literature. Makes for pretty edge-of-seat gripping toilet reading.
