"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?" - A NEW SEGMENT OF FRIDAY NIGHT'S ISM LIVE "AT THE BENCH" SHOW!

* Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, May 26th*

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew. :-)

Guess I'm the only one here...

Zoid is done, so no more making Dan say "Kotobukiya." This week I'm moving on with my Warring Weather build, the J2M3 Type 21 Raiden Prisoner of War from Hasegawa. Up to base coat now with Alclad Airframe Aluminum. Anti-glare strip already painted with Mr Color Flat Black and masked, and the tail stripes are painted on and masked with Tamiya flat red, white, and blue rather than use the decals (complete with some awesome extra blue because I didn't pay attention). Up next will be some varying metallic shades to break it up a little.

1/48 Revell Eurofighter Typhoon for Warring Weather

Good progress since last week - most of the building stage is done, just a couple of bits to paint before I can add the airbrake and canopy, then the nose cone and a couple of pylons and I can start preparing for primer.

A few gaps to fill, but nothing too major.

Mitches Military Models resin 200mm RAF Pilot

Almost finished. Washes and shading applied using Artists Oils. Lead wire for the main radio lead, plastic rod shaped for the microphone cable. Base colours were Tamiya, Vallejo and Scale 75 for the face.

Just a little more washing to be done and I need to sand and paint the simple DAS clay base I made earlier in the week.

Been doing a little bit of work on my Industria Mechanica 1/35 Hornethopter. It's a nice little resin kit with good fit and details. Painted in MR Hobby buffable dark iron and AK True Metal brass for the details. Still need to burnish the PE wings with some Ultimate burnishing fluid and then do a small diorama base for it.

Howdy all!

Made a little progress on my Pak34. Hopefully I can get it primed during the live show, planning on using Ultimate Black Primer. I love these little Tamiya kits for ease of use; and, it allows me to model something when my bench time is severely limited due to work.

1/35 Tamiya Pak35/36 L/45 3.7cm Anti-Tank Gun
Ultimate Black Primer
Most likely painted in German Grey.

1/48 Airfix Lightning. Done a few panels in different shades of ali, Vallejo Metal Colour White Aluminium and did the nose ring and a couple of side panels in Vallejo Metal Colour Chrome. Photo hardly shows this but it definitly makes a difference. Also realised I'd put the missile rails on backwards but have managed to pull them off with no damage.
