A great display piece and something I've fancied doing for a while now. Only 12 parts but it's a big bugger
The V-1 missile or V-1 flying bomb (German: Vergeltungswaffe 1 "Vengeance Weapon 1" )—also known to the Allies as the buzz bomb, or doodlebug, and in Germany as Kirschkern (cherrystone) or Maikäfer (maybug)—was an early cruise missile and the first production aircraft to use a pulse-jet for power.
The V-1 was developed at Peenemünde Army Research Centre by the Nazi German Luftwaffe during the Second World War. During initial development it was known by the codename "Cherry Stone". The first of the so-called "Vengeance weapons" (V-weapons or Vergeltungswaffen) series designed for terror bombing of London — because of its limited range, the thousands of V-1 missiles launched into England were fired from launch facilities along the French (Pas-de-Calais) and Dutch coasts. The first V-1 was launched at London on 13 June 1944, one week after (and prompted by) the successful Allied landings in Europe. At its peak, more than one hundred V-1s a day were fired at south-east England, 9,521 in total, decreasing in number as sites were overrun until October 1944, when the last V-1 site in range of Britain was overrun by Allied forces. After this, the V-1s were directed at the port of Antwerp and other targets in Belgium, with 2,448 V-1's being launched. The attacks stopped only a month before the war in Europe ended, when the last launch site in the Low Countries was overrun on 29 March 1945.
The British operated an arrangement of air defences, including anti-aircraft guns and fighter aircraft, to intercept the bombs before they reached their targets as part of Operation Crossbow, while the launch sites and underground V-1 storage depots were targets of strategic bombing.

Along with the V2 this missle has always been interesting being that it was a part of the Peenemünde projects. I did not know about the clone that we did in the US called the JB-2 or "Loon" in 1945. Are your going to scratch build the rolling carrier stand?

Yup very big, 40cm long
@Saturn5tony I have this build running on ScaleMates and your not the first to suggest scratch building a carriage cart as there is no display stand supplied with the kit. So why not, give me until pay day and I will order some square tubing and I will give it a try
It is fully built, filled and sanded, so a coat of primer tomorrow.

Oh great, I cant wait to see it. Yes, I have quite a few missiles from the V1, V2 all the way to the early 50 - 60's machines like the Atlas and such and all are kits both static and many flying. Loved that era because we know that is why space travel is here. I have the 1/48th Tamiya (very small and still in my stash) but the write ups on your Pegasus seems to be really nicely detailed. Ive never had a Pegasus and they have so many classic scifi space vehicles as well. Oh such fun. I hope you can build the transport for your V1 and show it. I would like to make the long haul track but even at 1/48th it would take up half the cellar haha! thanks for sharing.

Priming was my usual mist coat followed shortly after with a wet coat of Ultimate or Stynylrez as it's known on your side of the pond.
I wish my missus was as impressed as you with my stash

I intend to scratch build a dolly for this so it can be displayed properly. Although at 45cm long I'm not sure where its going to live! It was a quick fun build so,
