"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?" - A NEW SEGMENT OF FRIDAY NIGHT'S ISM LIVE "AT THE BENCH" SHOW!

* Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, June 9th*

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew. :-)

OK, OK... Not a great photo, but here is my Airfix 1:48 Hawker Hurricane Mk I for the Warring Weather GB all primed with Stynylrez. Needs a bit of cleanup before doing the camo. I was hoping to post this a few weeks ago but got hung up when I ruined both of the included canopies! I have since gotten a pair of Squadron vac-u-form canopies and thus far I've not screwed them up... yet.

1/48 Accurate Miniatures Avenger.
Built turret using a Master Company 50 cal barrel. Turret swivels and 50 cal goes up and down.
Added Decals scavenged from other kits. I am trying to represent a TBF-1 from the USS Enterprise - VT 10, Battle of Santa Cruz October 26, 1942.

Weathering: Gloss coat of Aqua Clad. Upper panels lines MIG Ammo Orange Brown. Lower panels lines first done with MIG Ammo Pacific Dust. Did not like because too light. Redone with MIG Ammo Dark Sea Blue.

Sprayed matte coat with Createx Matte Top Coat mixed with 30% Createx 4030 Mix Additive. This stuff is THICK. Sprayed at 50 psi with .7 mm needle in my Grex.

Still needs a prop, bits and bobs, a Mark 13 torpedo and some more weathering.

NOTE: Bomb Bay doors are now partially folded. :D

Slowest Sea King build on record!
Had to rip up the cemented floor as forgot the foot area windows and PE support details :wall:
1/72nd Airfix...the older kit. All Ultimate primers for black, white and grey and Tamiya paints for colors
Brass internals being made and the walls will all be lined and then Ultimate weathered.
Hope to button her up inside soon, but SO SLOW!!! :cheers2: Guys

Have started to work on a small base for my Hornethopter. The base is made from a small Bandai Gundam base with a layer of DAS clay on topp and a brass rod. The plan is to add some grass, plants to it but I'm not fully sure yet. The Hornethopter is from Industria Mechanika and painted in Mr Hobby dark iron buffable and AK True Metal brass and all the brass PE has been burnished using Ultimate burnishing fluid. There is still some touch up work to do to the hornet and a couple of cables to add before it's done.

Well that's damned awesome, JonMW...

Myself I've had a bit of a screw up. Went to put on the third and final contrasting metal color for my Warring Weather build, a 1/48 Hasegawa Raiden "Prisoner of War" and mistakenly grabbed Alclad Pale Burnt Metal instead of the Dull Aluminum and ended up with some really bright panels on the wings and just behind the cockpit. With all the tape on I thought it looked bright but it wasn't clear how wrong it was until the tape came off. After a few drinks tonight I'll need to mask it AGAIN and get the right color on. Sigh...
