1/35 Tamiya GI in the Ardennes

Post by spock1701 »

This is a figure I finished last month in between armor builds. Came right out of the spare figures box by way of Tamiya's M4 Sherman Howitzer. Painted with Vallejo Model Color acrylics, except for the M1, which was painted with Winsor & Newton oils.

The base was made by pouring Durham's Water Putty into the middle of a roll of tape lined with plastic wrap. It was edged with grout to erase marks made by the folds in the plastic. Not a bad method for making small bases. I recommend it.

Hope you enjoy it! :cheers2:
