Removing Johnsons Klear

Looking for any tips to remove Johnsons Klear from some clear parts.

Never had to do it, but the first thing I would try is simply soaking the parts in water for a couple of days, giving them a rub with a soft cloth a couple of times.

Never used it myself but I've read that it's the ammonia that will remove the Klear!

yep, it's on the bottle. Course it mightn't do any acrylics much good.

Ya, anything you use to strip the clear acrylic will likely affect the paint underneath as well
I strip with oven cleaner...a fresh lemon scent gel

Windolene or Windex... let it soak ( submerged )for a few days.. .. and it will decant to the bottom... slowly remove and wipe clean... and start over !

I dipped a canopy once and later painted it with a clear paint over it... Didn't like it ! so I soaked it in Windex and days later I had the Clear yellow and Klear (future) off as well... so it work if you are patient !

Tucking that canopy + Windex trick into the back of my head for when needed...note I didn't say IF needed
