You can make your own paint stands by cutting cardboard into strips and gluing them together with PVA. Also a cat scratcher can be made by gluing lots of strips together. It is pretty obvious but I thought some of you might not have thought of doing this. I am just a tight wad I know.

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

I'm the same way...although next time I think I'll just cut down a cat scratcher. I made about 4 in the end and found that it was pretty critical to get them the same height. I've used them on every project now!
