DIY Desktop Soldering Fan

Blaming this solidly on that Smoo guy!!
Been thrown into using LEDs and soldering and electronics by the cool threads, projects and videos.
With that comes a lot of soldering and the hazardous fumes formed when you do it. So, a small 12V fan hacked out of an old computer with a household charcoal filter attatched can pull the fumes away while you solder.

Here it is crudely attatched up to a 9v battery and runs like a champ

I am trying to use stuff, ie junk, that is around the house...starting with pillaging an old Dell computer and an old router
Look at my desk!!! It is like an electronics junk shop

I like the wooden case on this and the charcoal filter

So this begs the question ...where are you going to vent those fumes to ? Not trying to be a funny buggar
A larger computer fan would be better I think a 7" or larger.

Fumes go through a charcoal filter...mostly it is to take away the flash of smoke that happens when soldering and makes you hold your breath and blocks your vision.
Nice to have a small, cheap, QIET and little fan just sucking the fumes away from you into a filter
