After Market for Italeri 1/35 Schnellboot

Post by darkhelmet25 »

Hi All,

I've been trying to locate the Lion Roar S-100 Super Detail Set (LARS35013) for the aforementioned Italeri kit - no luck thus far. Is anyone familiar with this PE set? Is it worth the hunt? If so, any leads are most appreciated.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Are they not available any more ?

Eduard does a Big Ed set https://freetimehobbies.com/1-35-eduard ... boot-1-35/
possibly a smaller pe set than the Lion roar.

Thanks Digger, Yeah the Eduard (Big Ed) set is good, but the Lion Roar set offers some different and unique upgrades. Thanks for chiming in.

You might have to hit the second hand market for that set . I couldn't find it anywhere.

Unfortunately, I've been unable to locate the Lior Roar set anywhere. I guess I'll just have to hope that someone has one that they put on ebay - too bad, seems like a nice set. Not sure why they don't still offer it - can't cost them much to produce with a hefty markup.

Hi Matt

Not sure about the Lion Roar set but give Mastercasters a look as they do some great after market parts for the Schnellboot.

Built one a few years ago and got some of the resin parts they do and they look great, just got the replacement dinghies from them and very impressed with the detail on them.
