Wasa 1/144

Post by Džar »

Here I am trying to create Wasa to be at least somewhat similar to some of the jewels you present here. It is an old, age-old kit from Airfix, scale 1/144.
I'm still pulling the pulleys and I'm gonna play with the building. I hope they get at least a bit.

That is some great paint work you have done there. If you put the detail in the rest of the ship as you done with the hull she will be one beauty of a ship.

The rigging is really starting to make her stand out. Keep up the good work.

Coming along nicely! I have the Revell 1:150 version on my wish list. I have been to Vasamuseet in Stockholm many times -- she was definitely a beauty! And a lesson in engineering management for the ages!

Nice looking sails. Are those home-made?

sails are sewn. But I took them down from the ship because they were too white. I smelled them in the tea and made a starch. I'll be better off putting my rope on the rope. I'll send the photo soon.
