Global Scale Modeller

Hello All,
I have been building models for many years. Typically I build 1:48 scale aircraft. You can see pictures of my completed builds at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/128642409 ... 8900196769

My current project is 1:350 scale aircraft carrier. The USS Carl Vinson as she was at the start of her maiden cruise (world cruise) in 1983.
This is a huge project taking a 1:350 Trumpeter Nimitz kit and modifying it to the Vinson. I have been working on it since May. I will make a post of the build to bring all of you up to date and add the link here after it is posted.
