Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

Awfully slow work on this old (1980s) 1/72 scale Hasegawa A6M3. Just waiting for the glue to dry so I can fill more seams with the Vallejo putty.

finished building the ICM Ju88 A-5. used the Aims resin cockpit correction kit with PE. undercoat of Ultimate grey primer, gave it the RLM 65,70,71, camo scheme using Tamiya paints, faded all the paint with lighter shades then post shaded with Tamiya smoke, a lot of work for something that would be hidden by white! then hand painted all crosses, numbers and letters using home made stencils, then used the hair spray technique for the first time followed by a coat of Tamiya white then removed some to give a worn look, a bit more than was on the original plane. gave it a wash all over with AK winter paneliner

This week I've been working on my 1/48 KittyHawk Jaguar GR1 for the Feline Fever GB. I took a pilot from another kit and chopped his feet off to make him fit, as I want to display the model in flight. Apart from that no aftermarket has been used.

Painted using Tamiya acrylics.

USS Enterprise just about finished - I'm just waiting on some decals to replace some that I wrecked partway through the build. This is Revell's 1/600 Original Series Enterprise kit, which actually represents the Enterprise from the Deep Space 9 episode "Trials and Tribbleations". The white lighting is a cheap LED Christmas string and the lights in the warp nacelles are a pair of flickering LEDs (thanks to the guys in the build thread for persuading me I could light this up without too much pain). Paintwork was Ultimate black primer, Vallejo greys, a mix of washes for the panel lines, Tamiya metallic grey and Alclad Aqua Gloss and AK Matte to finish.

Time for me to show my current project.

Hobby Boss 1/48 Me 262 A-1a/U2 and this is a test fit of the seat and rear bulkhead after some of the PE was attached. Cue lots of pinging and cursing. I now love and hate PE with equal passion.

Primed with MIG Grey Surface Primer and sprayed with Vallejo Model Air RLM 66 and RLM 02 & the PE from Eduards 49606 set followed by a burnt umber oil wash over the top.



It's a slow build but I love the kit even though the fit tolerances a bit tighter than I'm used to. Got to think more about how much paint I'm putting down.

Started my Fighting Feline GB kit, Eduard's 1/48 F6F-5 Hellcat LATE. Being a ProfiPACK edition, PE for the cockpit, engine, etc. and resin wheels are included. Currently working on the cockpit (and struggling with my first attempt at PE) which is primed with Stynylrez black and painted with Tamiya XF-72 Cockpit Green. I need to finish the cockpit PE, weather it and then start on the fuselage, etc.

Been working on weathering my Airfix 1/48 Spit Mk. Vb this week, the photo is of the lower surfaces as they have received most work

I first used Ultimate dark dirt for a panel line wash, After adding a satin varnish I used Ammo Mig Streaking effects to (hopefully) represent oil leaks from the engine, I then used the same product to a lesser degree on various other parts, including the flaps.

Following a matt varnish I added black pigments to represent stains from the guns, as well as some light dust around the filter (although these don't show up too much)

I think it is probably a bit over weathered to be honest, but I am happy enough with it. Now I just need to paint the final few pieces to glue on and she should be done

Finished up the Tamiya 1/48 A-1J Skyraider this past week. Turned out really well. Primed in Ultimate Black for black basing. Painted overall in Model Masters Dark Tan FS30219, MM Medium Green FS34102, MM Dark Green FS34079 and MM Camo Gray FS36622. Bits and bobs painted in various ranges of Tamiya/MM acrylics. Top coated with MM Semi-Gloss Lacquer.

Fun build, highly recommended if you're thinking of building a Skyraider.

Stripped the wheels of chrome and painted MRP SuperGlossBlack and MrHobby Gold. Gold trim on the seats and dash bezels. Titanium and Gold engine which can be seen on the memorial Build thread...

Hey Guys!

After a short break I have finally resumed the work on my 1/48 AMK IAI Kfir C7.

The cammo have been painted with Gunze H313 (Sand Yellow), H312 mixed with H314 (Green Blue) and finally H310 (Red Brown) with a couple drops of XF-7 Red added.



Next step will be to postshade to add some fading - I might do that during tonights show

Big weekend push to finish on time

Hope I'm not too late...

The Valkyrie so far, the thruster nacelles are currently in bits and not pictured, but today I'll be filling and sanding all you see here as EVERYTHING has a fun seam line. Old kit is old, boys. It's still fun, just be warned...if you fancy a 1/48 Macross kit maybe try the YF-19 Paul did a while back, it's a newer mold For half the parts I had to snip off the locator pins to align the parts right, and there will be a lot of rescribing on the bits I didn't do that with.

Seam removal will be one of two ways, most parts had a generous amount of Tamiya Cement (NOT TET) smooshed together until it oozed out and will be sanded down. most times this creates a smooth join with no filling needed. The rest will need putty or CA glue depending on the gap.

Canopy seam line removed, cockpit done and nose cone sealed up. I'll be doing an open cockpit and the kit comes with a spare canopy so I can add the PE locks to this one and paint up the frame inside and out.
