Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

I've been working on the Jag for the feline fever GB which will soon be revealed
But also on my two 1/72nd Tomcats. The Academy one is drying... and below you can see the Revell one. It's almost all painted up.
I used Vallejo Air on the Cat's camo as I have a Navy and USAF set siting around. The finish is nice and smooth, and had no tip dry issues. Must be because the air around the bench is a bit moist. That's why I leave it to dry for a few days before touching it. The black was done with Mr Hobby Acrylics Gloss Black. The nozzles I did with MrHobby's buffable metals.

I'm working on a Tamiya 1/35 scale Panzer III and German Assault Infantry w/ Winter Gear on a winter diorama. I painted this with a mix of Vallejo, MiG and Tamiya paints. For the basic German Grey I used Tamiya on top of a black-and-white highlighted base, and then I did a pin wash with Tamiya's panel accent wash. I also did a filter with Vallejo's Blue Grey wash. After that I applied MiGs washable white camo paint which I then "washed" off with water. For the tracks I used MiG dark track colour and Vallejo's titanium white pigment with pigment fixer. On the Diorama I applied both Tamiya and Vallejo texture paints which seemed VERY similar to me. The figures I painted completely in Tamiya paints, using flat white, flat brown, khaki, rubber black and of course field grey. The guns I picked out with simply gun metal and black panel liner, and the tool handles with MiGs "new wood".

E: I changed my submission to match this week better.

Moving along on Academy 1/288 Shuttle and NASA 747 WIP for the ISM Space build
Some very cool space projects going on so take a look on the forum if you haven't already

Shuttle Ultimate white, Ultimate grey and Mig dark wash for panel lines.
Aluminum tubing for a pitot tube test fitted, tail taped up for the black details.
I muffed the panel lines the first try, was inaccurate with the black areas and crew door location so stripped all the paint off the Shuttle... this is version 2.0

747 got the BMF treatment
Fuselage colour line is Ultimate white, Tamiya royal blue upper line and then red pin striping tape for lower line...because I am a lazy azz, was easier to pinstripe it



Busy Friday day off so will watch you guys on the replay

My Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz. 234/2 "Puma" for the Feline Fever build is coming along. After priming in Ultimate Black & Grey the main colours are Vallejo ModelAir Dark Yellow, Dark Green and Red Brown - this was my first attempt at free-hand airbrushing a German 3-colour camo scheme and despite a couple of hiccups along the way it turned out ok. The pioneer tools and other bits were brush painted in a mix of Tamiya, Vallejo, Lifecolor & AK paints. Decals were then applied directly on the ModelAir as it leaves a satin finish and then sealed with a couple of coats of Alclad Aqua Gloss and AK Ultra Matte. I've also started working on the Dio base which is the "Street w/ruined house" from Miniart - with all the associated joys of working with Vac-form.

Next up will be weathering washes and pigments on the AFV and there's still some tidying up to do on the ruins before I can start laying down paint on the base.

Revell TIE Interceptor for my son.
Supposedly 1:90 but smaller.
First of two TIE builds, the fighter will be in a diorama.
OOB build but used the stand from the fighter.
Paints were Tamiya, Citadel, Klear, Oil (for pin wash) and Xtracrylics satin to seal it.
Really pleased for a simple build and I may have made a few whoosh y pew pew noises.

Howdy all!

Finished up this Emil over the past week.

Tamiya 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf-109 E-3 painted in 2./JG 77 White 3 (Norway 1940) colors; completely out of box.

Ultimate Black Primer
MM RLM 65 for the light blue parts
Vallejo Model Air RLM 02 for the gray bits and splinter camo
MM RLM 71 for the "green" splinter camo parts.
Rest of the colors are painted with the Tamiya XF range.

Minimal weathering accomplished with Vallejo pigments.

Kit went together easily and the decals worked out well.

This is my KittyHawk Jaguar GR1 for the Feline Fever build.

Painted in Xtracrylix Desert Pink, with Vallejo Metal Color Dull Aluminium and Exhaust Manifold for the metal parts, weathered using Mig Ammo panel line wash - medium grey and neutral brown.

Just need to finish the missiles and mount it on a perspex rod for display.
