Ism Friday's night live at the bench what have you been working on for *October 27th*

Post by Kingdan »

"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?"

* Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, October 27th*

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew. :-)

Current one is the Aston Martin Vanquish from the Bond movie Die Another Day.
Just finished painting the adaptive camouflage and quite pleased with the result.

Started detail painting the ejection seats for my 1/48 Academy F-14 build - these seats are part of the Aires cockpit set and I'm really impressed with the level of detail on them.

The black is just Ultimate primer, and everything else is Tamiya acrylics. Not perfect when zoomed in, but to the naked eye I'm pleased with how they look. I might give them a few touch ups before adding the PE seat belts.

Started building a 1:16 scale revell Peterbilt 359 conventional truck ( basically a reboxed version of monograms 1983 kit) nothing fits quite right, tons of flash etc but getting there, have managed to source the CAT yellow for the engine from zero paints, going to try and light this rig up with led lighting, not decided on a paint scheme as yet, looking at flame stencils for a ghost flame effect probably with zero paints again all the chrome will be removed and repainted in molotov chrome or buffing powders, still experimenting with those and Ultimate primer on it all.

Cyber Hobby 1/35 SU-85M Tank Destroyer.

Painted with Ultimate black primer, shadow coated with white then Tamiya paint for the base colour. Dot filtered with oils, chipped then sealed with aqua gloss. Then a a Ultimate dark dirt wash, more oils for rust streaks, dirt and fuel stains then finished off with dry pigments.

Been working on a Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito FB Mk VI

Have added the Eduard PE set. I am slightly disappointed with the set as although it includes a detailed instrument panel its missing panels in other prominent places, like the radios at the back of the cockpit

This was also my first attempt to add further details myself, which is the reason for all of the lead wire. I may need to order slightly thinner wire next time but I reasonably happy for a first attempt

All the PE and lead wire now has some Mr Metal Primer on ready for 'normal' priming over the weekend

Tamiya Mid production Tiger with white wash.

White wash is done using Ultimate 'Winter' Clay wash. tank is gloss coated so a little bit shiny..

Dio is coming along, plain old Polyfilla for the base and the tree's are Balsa..

**SHAMELESS PLUG**Video on how I made the tree's will be on my YT channel Sunday :nena:

Started a Tamiya 1/35 T-34/76. Coming along well so far. Simple kit that should build up quickly.

Hope everyone has had a great week!
