Revell 1/48 B-29 nose weight

Post by Hatzegopteryx »

I am working on this model aircraft, and I was wondering if anyone knows a general weight range, since it seems like it will be a massive tail dragger, and I couldnt find anything on the internet. Thanks

I'm afraid I can't help with your specific question, but I saw in a modelling magazine a few months ago that you can tape up the model and add a stand of lego blocks under each wheel well. If it proves itself a tail sitter you then attach a cup to the nose and add weights to the cup until the model stops sitting on its tail :th:

I did that, and it ended up being about 85g in the nose plus the clay i had put into the engines of the left wing. Thanks for the help.
