I have been iching to crack into this build since I got home from Telford. Here is what I will be entering with, The gorgeous ICM 1/32 I-16. It will be a great task to weather this and make it stand out from the rest. :) Cant wait

So far I am impressed with ICM and their little I-16. Goes together really well but their colour callouts are much to be desired. I forgot to take ANY pics of the cockpit, although, once done you cant see any of it anyway.

Only the smallest amount of sprue goo needed. CA would have been good enough really for the size of the gap (ooer)

This is a great kit, goes together really well but not perfectly. Some slight filling and sanding around the engine. I chose to not paint up the engine as it wont be seen and I did not want to leave any panels off.

Used the Lovely Ultimate Black Primer. lovely stuff and shows any flaws in the plastic

I sprayed the aircraft H320 dark green. and then lightened and darkened it and mottled the aircraft to weather it. Still trying to master it but its improving with each build.

I hair sprayed the wings and chipped the white paint to make it look more war torn. I wanted to differentiate my aircraft from the others :)

I also weathered some of the decals by ripping them apart with masking tape. A tip I got from Paul.
