Hi ISM crew and modellers everywhere.

I've been a bit of a lurker on the forum and live shows for a while, but finally joined and thought I'd introduce myself

I'm an old git who, like many, many members of this forum used to build (cobble roughly together) kits in my dimly remembered childhood. Mostly aircraft (WW2) but, really, all sorts of things (as I'm slowly reminded by browsing online model shops) including boats, dinosaurs, and the Airfix Saturn V (all delicately wrapped in blankets of glue). After hundreds of years I returned to the hobby about 10 years ago, built the 1/48 Tamiya Mk 1 Spitfire and a couple of Hasegawa Bf-109s before life intruded and I had to pack it in. I re-returned at the beginning of this year and find I can't stop making things hard for myself by scratch-building 'additions'.

Anyway, I hope this counts as an introduction and I look forward to joining the community.
