All primed and started painting the base colours. First was the RLM65, using Vallejo acrylic for the first time - Quite impressed, but can't form much of an opinion when only doing such a small area.
I dry fitted the undercarriage in the up position just as a means of preventing the painting going into the wheel bays, I will be positioning the undercarriage in the down position once it's all painted.

Over the last few days I've finished the base colours of RLM65, RLM70 and RLM71. Masking the splinter camo pattern was tricky but I think I got it looking OK. There are some touch ups required around the wing roots as they were particularly difficult to mask!

Thanks Stokesy!
Did some weathering last night. I used Mig panel line washes and Ultimate dark dirt (and a lot of artistic license!!) to create some streaking and staining. Not sure if the oil staining underneath is too much, but I like it!
