Non Official MIG-21 SIG

Hello all, On the 1st of February there will be an unofficial ISM
Mig-21 Sig started by Andreas Skaar. It will be 1 month long and the usual sig rules apply, new/unstarted kit, have a build thread on either the Facebook page or the Forum, as much or as little aftermarket as you see fit and have fun

Allthough i'm not sure about the payload yet
There are 2 sets of rocketlaunchers in the box so maybe i will fit it out with those ,the guns and the centreline tank
Just for the cool factor of having a lot of rockets

Yes been waiting for this one!!
Never built a Mig-21 before so looking forward to it,my kit will be a Eduard Weekend Edition boxing with just a extra resin seat.
Really struggled once I started looking at schemes to choose just one...ended up buying 5 different decal sheets and a resin upgrade set for the Romanian Lancer-C.
Got the short list down to 6 options...guess there will be more Eduard Mig-21 being dropped in a online shopping cart in the near future...

All stems from Andreas spotting this kit at Telford...he told me I should buy it! He then told me I should be some stencils... He then told me I should buy a Brassin set!

So...here we go...my first kit with aftermarket!

Would love to join as one of the Eduard Mig-21 kits has cuban markings that have always caught my eye, but I know there's no chance of me finishing in a month - I shall be watch with interest through

Hey folks. I've tried on a couple of occasions to join a SIG or GB but I was taking several months just to complete one kit so in the spirit of gay abandon (or just abandon in my case ) I'm going to enter this fella:

I've ordered low-vis aftermarket decals for the Polish version but have yet to make up my mind on a paint scheme. Ivan, would it be ok if I painted the model in one scheme but applied decals from another? Does it have to be factually accurate or can I 'wing it' slightly.

Guys, I dont know if you are still active or not. Anyway, I started working on the Academy Mig 21 PF (late) 1:48.
Do you have any advice to give.
Apart from the model I also have the Verlinden detail set, and the CMK detail set (for the MF but some parts can be used for the PF).
