Tamiya Calsonic Skyline GT-R

Post by NorthernModeller »

Hello all, I shall be entering this GB with this lovely looking car, this was kindly sent to me by Sam and I am grateful for him doing so. Today whilst I was at IPMS Bolton I grabbed a can of TS-44 and decanted it ready for use tomorrow.

Got the body primed in Ultimate white primer which I heated up, thanks for the tip from Gil Mondragon. I have also decanted the Tamiya TS-44 and sprayed that through the Ultimate Apex.

Bipidy Bop, Decals on top (sorry) Got the decals down on the Skyline tonight. After watching Pauls decalling video, I have fallen in love with doing decals again. Leave it a day or two and then 2K. Happy days

Looking great mate
Did you paint the black trim before or after the gloss coat?
