I did this model a while back, but never got around to putting on the windscreen and little PE latches. I finished this weekend and thought I would upload. Overall it was a nice build. Loads of detail for the scale. The resin was perfect. There are quite a few decals missing. It was originally supposed to a rally car #5 (in red). I decided to paint blue because I liked the color! One of the decals went on the very back corner. In order to get it to conform to such a complex curve I needed loads of solvent and coaxing. I managed to the decal on perfectly, but all the rubbing went through the paint! :bash: Strip and repaint; lost the decals in the process. Also, the lens covers for the headlamps are missing. They vacuum-formed pieces that were sent warped in the mail and were un-usable. I just left them off.

Full disclosure: I touched up the photos for some post-mortem scratches and paint chips. This little guy has been sitting on my bench for a few months and got dropped at least once. Other items have been dropped on it as well. I almost binned it, but in the end I am glad I kept it. To the naked eye it looks fine, but the camera just picks up every little thing.

Great to see Ferrari in blue...struggling to keep mine yellow or go traditional red
I am impressed with the wire wheel details and such at that scale
Nice work
