My First Diorama

Well.... while i wait until my very special tracks from Canada arive i thought i start on my very first Diorama....

i had something like this in mind......

it wil be the end of winter so the slope will be muddy there wil be a couple of bushes some gras and some snow


oh yeah i also wil be placing 12 figurines with the tank.

Will look good when it's done mate. I was thinking that a 2-part diorama may be challenging for you. Possibly either a Panzer IV or an anti-tank gun in ambush on the reverse side of the slope.

i am way ahead of you Daishi12 ....... just started the build of a German AA-carier Sd. Kfz. 10/5 with FLAK 38 ... maybe i can put that on the end of the high strait so the russians are going to capture it...... MAYBE...

Now.... i went out today into the big and scarry shopping centre... and didnt return empty handed

You probably already know this if you've been watching Michael's videos Sebastian, that clay is going to crack a lot as it dries.
So make sure that you save a bit so that you can patch it up.
The foam block is soft and it will flex as the clay dries causing a lot of cracking.
It's nothing to worry about as long as you still have some left over to fill them in.
It's great stuff to work with, I hope you enjoy it.

Oh yeah.. That's more than enough I think. I only used half of one for the Barkmann Panther diorama.
You're probably good.
This will be so much fun Sebastian, no matter how it turns out, making dioramas is a good time I think.

Correct....... they are planned to be snow coverd rocks around a fire place....
