Amusing Hobby E-100 Alligator 1/35

Post by nemisous »

Oh boy here we go again this is kind of a refresher build just to get the juices flowing and loosen up my rusty painting skills. So far this has been a most pleasant build my only headache was the last than stellar track connections I would have been better off just gluing the tracks like normal magic links but I foolishly trusted the advertised "workable" feature. The tracks fell apart multiple times and I was forced to take them off and glue the whole track to the model.

Now that I've started painting I can tell you that I am most pleased with the initial coat of paint. I was a bit skeptical of the hair spray technique but it actually worked out pretty well I'm most proud of the highlights.

So I was playing around with some streaking effects and I'm pretty happy with the results

So after being super lazy for the past few days I figured I'd upload the progress I've made so far.
