"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?”

NEW! Starting this upcoming Friday, the Live! Crew will not only review your work, they will also pick their favorite build for the week. The entry with the most votes will win an ISM Goodie Bag! It is just one more reason to show us your work each week, so what are you waiting for?

**Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, March 2nd**

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.
05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew.

Looks like I'm the first one. Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.XVIe. If not stated, paints used are Tamiya. Also if I used the airbrush, it was primed with Stynylrez black primer.
Engine was airbrushed with Semi-Gloss (S-G) Black with hand painted aluminum and Titanium Silver. It was also dry brushed with aluminum. The mountings and pipes were airbrushed with Model Masters RAF Interior Green, hand brushed S-G Black and Aluminum. Oil Tank and Air Filter was airbrushed with Chrome Silver (kinda came out grainy). The front of the cockpit was hand painted with RAF Interior Green, S-G Black, Aluminum and Gold Leaf. The pedals and Stick were airbrushed with the same interior green and hand painted with S-G Black and Alumnium. The rest of the cockpit needs to be painted.

Here is My 1/72 Italeri F4U-4B Corsair. This Build is my first Kit in 20 Years and my first kit painted by airbrush! The kit is straight out of the box with no aftermarket parts. All the Painting has been done using Tamiya acrylics. I had to build my own aerial when the one from the kit fell to the mercy of the carpet monster. The decals have been applied using Micro set & Micro sol and the gloss coat has been done with 4 coats of Tamiya X-22. I have encountered one small problem with the rockets under each wing, the spacing on the kit is to narrow to include 5 per side, so after a long time knocking them off and trying to re-glue them on I decided to only attach 3 per wing. Overall I am very pleased with the build and can't wait to start the next build!

Have been making slow but cautious progress on the Mig, have been loving it and so scared of messing it up that I have been a little intimidated in the weathering of it. Still, Progress is good and she is starting to come together. Thanks to all the guys in the Hangouts for their advice and encouragement.

This week I've resurrected my Tamiya 1/35 StuG IV build, starting with some Ultimate black primer - lovely stuff! The vinyl tracks haven't been primed yet as I ran out of time.

You'll need to excuse the polka dot tray, I didn't have anywhere else to put it for the photo!

Hey Guys!

The work on the Zvezda 1/72 Yak-130 have been a bit slow, due to the cold weater. My workplace is around 16 dgr C, so it's a bit uncomfy and the paint takes forever to dry.

But most of the paintjob is done, just some detailpainting left and then it's glosscoat and decals next :th:

The aircraft is painted in the Belarusian Airforce cammo scheme, using Gunze H308, H312 and H319 for the cammo and XF-82 for the radome and tailfin top. The underside is painted with an "off-white" mix of Tamiya paints - don't ask what colour and ratios I used  :shifty:

Started this Tamiya 1/12th scale Ducati 916 which my granddaughter won on the Live show a few weeks back, she's been itching for me to start it, so now the Bike build is underway, I've started sticking a number of items together. Colour option has changed a number of times, so no knowing what colour she'll choose next.
