Hasegawa Honda RS250 RW Scott Honda

My effort for Paul's bike buddy build, this is Hasegawa's 1/12th scale Honda RS RW250 from 2009 rider Hiro Aoyama who was the last World Champion of the two stroke 250 era before Moto 2 arrived in 2010. So far assembled the chassis and swing arm, and parts of the motor, and some of the body parts, filled seams along front wheel hugger, the tank and the rear seat unit with sprue goo which will be sanded back when dry. Most parts primed with Ultimate Black Primer, the frame and the swing arm and radiator were primed with Ultimate Gloss Black base then sprayed with AK interactive Polished Aluminium, these have been cleared with Alclad Aqua Gloss. Next up loads of detail painting.

Hi Tay99 yes every bit as good slightly more fiddly because they cram a lot of engine detail parts in but that is no bad thing .

Cheers Scott it's a case of having time on my hands at the moment still unable to drive due to the vertigo so finding 3-4 hours a day to get some kits done.

Small update on the Scott Honda, the frame and motor now pretty much complete used foil on the airbox to represent the heat tape used on actual bike same will be applied to the exhaust down pipes, front end and body work next.

Another few hours spent on the Scott Honda redone the airbox used heat shield foil this time much happier with it now added the ignition wires foiled the exhausts detailed the front forks and the exhausts primed all the body work as well so hopefully get the first colour coats on tomorrow

Thanks guys good kit let down in some areas compared to the Tamiya ones I think Hasegawa have over engineered it in places and it falls short in other areas, such as all the connection lugs for the pipes and cables are seriously weak points have had to drill and add wire to pretty well every one of them.

Pauls bike buddy build continues seems like an endless session of masking and painting most of the body work done and actually got a few decals on here is where it's at. So far the colours used are all Tamiya paints X11 Silver ,X1 Black and X2 White all thinned with Lechler self levelling cellulose thinners, when the decal are on the body will get a clear coat of Lechler 2k but I don't want it overly shiny want it to look like a used racing bike
