GSI Creos Mr. Hobby Color banned in North America?

Was speaking to a GSI Creos distributor here in Canada and they said the Mr. Hobby Color acrylic H- range of paints are banned in North America. He said there are some chemicals in them that are prohibited in the U.S. and Canada. GSI Creos has brought out the Acrysion N- line of paints that don't have these prohibited chemicals and can be sold in N.A. The Mr. Color Lacquer line of paints, which I mostly use along with Tamiya, are not banned.
Of course you can always order from Asia if you want them.

I know there was a thing with the labeling at one point and that had to be changed.

Looked into the new paints. They look better than the other paints they have. Why have a limited selection when they could just change the recipe that's on the production line?
