Ism Friday's night live at the bench what have you been working on for *April 20th*

Post by Kingdan »

"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK?”

NEW! Starting this upcoming Friday, the Live! Crew will not only review your work, they will also pick their favorite build for the week. The entry with the most votes will win an ISM Goodie Bag! It is just one more reason to show us your work each week, so what are you waiting for?

**Open now until 1 hour before the show on Friday, April 20th**

** PLEASE read ALL of the rules below carefully! **

Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.
05). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

We thank you in advance for allowing us the opportunity to showcase your models! - Lee Larholt, Paul Bretland, and the rest of the ISM moderators and live crew.

Finally completed this Heller Laverda 750 SFC this morning-took almost 2 months. Paints used were Ultimate primers, Tamiya X6 Orange, various other Tamiya, Vallejo and Alclads, and Molotow liquid refill Chrome, and Alclad Aqua Gloss. It's a rebox of an old 1970's kit, and it shows. It fought me all the way, but I regret nothing, well almost nothing...

WIP - Collapse Industries Specimen Zero resin figure approximately 6 inches (16 cm) tall

This is a bit out of my comfort zone, but having fun.

Base is White Stynylrez primer with some preshading and Badger Metalsmith Carbon Iron Ore and Metal-Look (Pure Silver).

Head is Black Stynylrez primer with Badger Metalsmith Bronze Copper Ore.

I like the finish, not sure about the color. Still pondering my next step.

I have been painting on my roundels on the Special Hobby Tempest MK.V. The montex mask set is god send for this although last night was not so fun as Graeme and Paul will tell you, It would have cost me a lot of money if we were live.

Tamiya 1/35 StuG IV almost complete. Since last week's update I've added the tracks and the machine gun, and now all that's needed is a flat varnish. The kit came with a wee man, but I'll paint him and add him at a later date.

I'm rebuilding this Eduard Bf 109 G6, it was done about two weeks ago for the big model show here in Stockholm. But I left it in the car over night when I got home from the show and of cores someone broke into the car. They didn't steal anything, just ripped off parts of the dashboard and completely destroyed this and the other kit I had left in the car. Managed to find most of the parts just missing the antennas and pitot tube, but I have spares of those. I've painted it using MR Paints RLM 76, RLM 02 for the landing gear, RLM 70 for the prop and RLM 66 for the cockpit. Most of the weathering was done with oils but I'll have to redo some of that as I had to repaint parts of the plane as the paint was scratched after lying on the street next to the car when I found it. But it will be rebuild and finished, again.

Hey Guys!

Finished my Eduard 1/72 F6F-3 Hellcat earlier this week.
It was a laidback build where painting have been done with Gunze Aqueous paints following the paint callout in the kit, so it's 100% OOB... ;)
