Eduard 1/35 F6F-5 Hellcat VF-88

I am building one aircraft of each type assigned to Air Group 88 as flown from the Carrier CV-10 USS Yorktown in July/Aug 1945.
The Corsair (VBF-88) was built last year for the Club Show. This Hellcat (VF-88) will be followed by an Accurate Miniatures TBM-3 Avenger (VT-88) and the Pro Modeler SB2C-4 Helldiver (VB-88). The tail code had changed from the white wedge to the letters "RR" on July 25, 1945 til war's end.

This Eduard kit was a dream to put together, the fine detail is beautiful.I don't know if i had any major issues with this at all.

I used True Details wheels, Eduard Cockpit Photo Etch and Canopy masks. Decals were mix of AeroMaster Hellcats Part III and Aeromaster Carrier Based Corsairs Part II (for the "RR").
