The start line is in site! My choice is the 1/32 He-111P from Revell. It's almost OoB, with a canopy mask and two extras from CMK.
1: Fuel fillers necks and life set
2: Wing fuel tanks
being used. This a/c is a big bugger and I chose it after much thought but the clincher was seeing a completed one at the Cosford model show!

Finally all the fuselage internals, including the cockpit, have been built and painted. The fuselage halves can now be joined then we move on to the engines, wheel wells and bomb bays.

Some more progress with the engines being built and the bombs & bomb racks painted & installed. Revell fu***d up as step 43 & 44 show locator marks for part #28 to fit to, but as the photo shows, they are missing!?!?!

It's coming on slowly but surly. All the "halves" are now together and an initial coat of primer applied. Recent bench sessions have been about detail painting, wheels, undercarriage and internals etc. Now comes some major assembly!!!

You need to use pictures around 800x600 mate as they are way to small to see

The props are painted and, finally, the pain in the ass engines are on. The fuselage has been cut away to accept the CMK resin life boat compartment.

All going well, It's just so hot that even trying to prime results in it looking like iv;e coated it in 240 grit sandpaper

So I'm just waiting for cooler weather

I am just lazy and letting a Porsche catch my attention rather than puttying and sanding wing and fuselage seams
