Tamiya 1/12 - Yamaha YZR500

A few quick pics I took on my phone, first bike build, a new found respect for bike builders, I've only done a few tanks and a couple of cars before, and this is only my second airbrush project. VERY time consuming compared to tanks!
An old kit that doesn't quite live up to the fit of Tamiya's modern standards, and it fought me all the way, lots of sanding and filling, happy with how it came out in the end despite a few f**k ups
I managed to crack the windscreen trying to 'manipulate' it to fit the fairing better, and I also managed to put some minor thumb prints in the clear coat on the fuel tank rushing to get it finished instead of waiting a few days for it to fully cure....idiot!!
Don't be too harsh, I've got a few more bike kits lined up now after I enjoyed this one so much, so I will get better!
