Riveting

Post by sheppsea »

Good evening everyone :)

Was just wondering what people's thoughts were on adding rivets to aircraft? It is something I like the idea of and think it can add to the detail and look of an aircraft, but on the other hand, I also find it a huge mojo killer, and it really delays the progress I make as I avoid doing it (this is basically why there hasn't been an update on my Warhawk thread for a while).

And that's before I even get onto the reliability of blueprints out there, as well as questions over scale and finding out which planes would have had them filled etc

Feel a bit of a catch 22 for me, and was wondering what other peoples' thoughts were?

Deffo mo-jo killer for me. I only rivet where they have been lost to glue marks or sanding etc.
