Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long,please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

Hello, This week I have started this crap. The Eduard BF109 E-4 in 1/32. Not one of eduard good kits and it really is showing its weaknesses. This is to be done for SAMI and is having the nightfighter conversion.....yaay

Revell Colonial Viper and Dio

Final layer of the Still water is on and started to add the Reeds/Rushes.

Viper has Had its stripes painted on, there was a little paint bleed but nothing to drastic. Touched up the lines and added first layer of chipping to cover up my poor line painting skills.

This week I've been working on the interior of my Zvezda 1/35 Panzerjager 1, before closing it all up.

The interior was painted using Vallejo Model Color Buff over Ultimate grey primer. I'm not a fan of Vallejo paint through an airbrush as it always seems too wet, but it's the closest to the early-war interior colour apparently.

I also brush painted the seat cushion with Vallejo flat brown, and the radio with Tamiya nato black (drybrushed with a light grey). Weathering was done using the flat brown for rusty bits and a neutral brown Mig Ammo wash.

Hasegawa 1/24 Subaru Impreza 1993, built for the British Rally legends Sig. Ultimate white primer, Zero paints Monte carlo 555 blue, mica 2k clear, kit decals went done with no issues and i just added some fabric belts to the out the box build

This week I made a little more progress on the Industria Mechanika 1/35 Hornethopter.

The head, body and legs are now mostly done, but I still need to finish the cockpit and haven't even started on the antennae and wings.

The assembly is quite fragile so I made a start on the mount in order to have somewhere to keep it safe (The mount will be a small vignette when finished).

Bandai K2SO

Here is my progress on my K2SO build. Kit all finished and now working on the base.
The base is made from an old photo frame and display card, coated in a Primer and Sand mix.
Just adding some detail from greeblies box and the ground surface is made from DAS modelling clay.
Next is detail painting, weathering, and finish the wiring to K2SO with a hidden switch on the Fire hydrant looking object on the left.

Tamiya 1/48 F-16C I started this as a bit of a mojo booster, I seem to be hitting a brick wall habit with the other kits, so maybe this is the kit to kick that habit and get me to finish one. So far a trouble free build, no issues, so shall progress with it on tonights show. Items used, Tamiya plastic and glue.

Small update on the 1/32 Trumpeter SBD-5/A-24B Dauntless:

Furbar on the engine exhausts had me sawing them off and repositioning so the outer stubs now fit through the cowling holes Engine now on and rear engine cowlings fettled and glued but overnight they moved so loads of sanding on the underside and a quick coat of primer highlighted areas where further work is required. Meanwhile the airbrakes were primed then painted Tamiya XF-3 Yellow following Pauls suggestion and further painted with Tamiya X-7 Red to make them pop. Ultimate Light Dirt Wash was then sprayed on to dull them down a tad and wiped off using cotton buds leaving the result I was after.

So this week, I've been focused on finishing two car builds.
Firstly the Hot Wheels NASCAR by Revell, which Sam bought me, so I could build it for my 5yr old lad. Stalled a few weeks ago when I tried to apply decals...only to ind them crumbling in the water. So I've waited for some Liquid Decal Film from Micro Scale, to attempt a repair. I think it's helped a little bit but it took a lot of work to get these down. All of the larger ones fragmented and needed carefully piecing together. They are an absolute mess but as long as the car has Hot Wheels on the side...Little guy will be happy. Now just needs glass and a gloss coat.

Chihuahua Egg Basket Noodle. Also Thanks to Sam (he's a lovely man,) I have been able to revisit my Belkits Skoda Fabia when he "found" a replacement set of decals for it. So that's been stripped right back and reprimed in Ultimate White followed by two coats of decanted Tamiya TS26 through my Ultimate Apex. Now ready for decals.

I just started my entry into the Bomber SiG - a 1/72 Bristol Buckingham by Czech manufacturer Valom. Not much progress so far, but in terms of the kit quality the surface detail is great but the engineering isn't so hot. There's no locator pins and very little in the way of guides for installing parts at all in fact so there's a fair bit of dead reckoning. Finally the wing to fuselage joints are simple butt joints so this photo is the result of me drilling holes in various places and feeding some brass rod through the fuselage to act as spars and then taping it all together. There's been plenty more challenges so far this week but perversely I'm enjoying trying to polish this turd so far

Finished up this one this week, Tamiya's 1/48th F15c, i used aires burner cans and aftermarket decals to make a Lakenheath bird.
9 years in the making using mr hobby paints, Ultimate washes, mounted on two 15mm acrylic rods and a wooden base. Off to its new owner this week.

Started my first car ever, this 1949 Mercury. Inspired by the "lead sled" modding culture, I've begun shaving the chrome trim lines from the side panels, shaved the door handles and the drip rail on the roof. I'm still debating over chopping the top, I'm not even sure how I would begin. This kit is absolute garbage though; the fit and quality is terrible, so we'll see how it turns out.
