Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show.

Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.
02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.
03). Along with your image, Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long,please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).
04). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

It's finished....

Revell's colonial viper MkII.

Nice simple kit to build, went together O.K. only real seam was on the engine pods but that was easily dealt with.

Model was Primed in Ultimate black, and Tamiya's flat colours were used. The stripes are painted on as the decals were not to great and had several blemishes on them.

Weathered using the scourer part of a sponge and the panel lining and streaks are done with Abtielung 502 Star-ship filth.

Dio was built using a picture frame and wall filler for the base with stones from the garden and woodland scenic's ballast in 2 different sizes.

Again woodland Scenics for the grass in both 2mm and 4mm

Water is Vallejo still water with Ultimate dark dirt and Algae green clay washes used on different layers(several over all)

Reeds are from Busch(Getreifield & Shilf - Grain fields and reeds)

Something a bit different from my usual fare this week. This has been languishing on the shelf of doom for over 18 months and then last week I don't know what triggered it but I had a sudden revelation as to what I wanted to do to finish it off... The figure is Nocturna's 54mm Vampire Queen, the trees and rear fence are from JG Miniatures and it's all installed on a Games Workshop oval base. I won't list all the paints mainly because I can't remember them all; but the paint ranges were Vallejo, ScaleColor, Game Color, Life color, Ultimate primer, various clay washes including Ultimate Algae and Tamiya snow effect to finish it all off.

So a year and a half on the shelf of doom sorted in a day and a half of fettling & painting...

Well I've chosen to plough on with the Trumpeter 1/32 Dauntless SBD5 etc, etc. Underside painted in a mix of Tamiya XF-greyish and Ultimate Thinner! One side of the upper surface given the first pass with MRP Intermediate Blue and Sea Blue with loads still to do. Can I go and pack the suitcase now???

This week I have mostly been continuing work on the Academy 1/72 B-29. I'm trying to recreate the bockscar plane. The one that dropped the plutonium bomb "fatman" on Nagasaki at the end of WWII.
Just about got the interior finished and fitted in the fuselage and I think it's pretty much ready to be closed up and hidden forever!

Four day weekend for me, I am likely drinking at this moment

Airfix 1/72 Short Sterling with some stuff I added inside. AK Air green paint with various Ultimate primers
Front turret with Mini World Metal .303 Browning barrels painted Mr Hobby dark iron AK True Metal aluminum highlights
Hoping to get the fuselage buttoned up soon after all the guns are done

Now guess who has figured out how to do multiple photos!!!!

paint used Tamiya xf-19 sky grey, 50-50 mix of xf-4 and xf-58 for the base colour and xf-26 and xf-51 for the camo.
Vallejo flat black for the tyres and cockpit surround.
Tamiya gun metal for the fan blades.
Full build in the cold war build section.

Been slowly working on the Domino/Tamiya Ford Escort RS Cosworth. It's a nice kit but the decals could be better. Painted it in Ultimate white primer and then Mr Hobby GX1. I had to use Tamiya X20A as a decal solution to even get the decals to start laying down, they did crack in a few places but I found that Gunze H88 is a pretty close match for the blue.

Yes folks I actually do paint stuff from time to time, 1/32 HobbyBoss F-84G cockpit painted and ready for the fuselage to be closed up, I shall continue little by little to complete this (fingers crossed it's too big for the box)

A little bit orange peeley but happy overall. Just needs final assembly and window decals on the sausage and rhubarb thistle stems.

I did have a few hours spare this week and painted the wings and cockpit controls of my Industria Mechanika Hornethopter. The wings are very fragile and great Care was needed not to bend them when using the Ultimate sander to remove the paint from the raised etch.
A lack of free time is killing this project for me at the moment, but I think many of us have this problem this time of year
