Hey everyone

So had a bonding moment with the step daughter last night, was having a great chat with her talking about absolutely everything, when she expressed her interest in building a model.
Have had a quick hunt around the interwebs and came across the revel snap tite kits
Anyone had any experience with these kits build with the kids?

This is what she has chosen

No idea how good it is. Can't be too bad as it is designed for a kid to put together. Not too pricey either. How old is the child ? I would think 9 and up should be able to master it with a helpful word or two.
Either way as they chose it. Let them have have a go, it is you letting them have some control. Gives you more status in there eye's. Although can be a case of 2 steps forward one step back, but it is still a good thing.

Hey digger, she is 11 going on 12 and quite artistic. Has already decided she would like to paint it blue.....

sage advice

Generally, based on aircraft experience, they have few parts, are easy as to put together and come pre-painted. They're attractive to the far less critical mind of a child who sees the nice shiney model rather than the accuracy/detail obsessives that some advanced modellers become. Anyway its a bonding moment with potential for the happy childhood moments list for your daughter. Besides we need more ladies in the hobby.
