What's our next SiG? You decide....

Post by Lee »

OK, so Paul and I have come up with four suggestions after trawling the forum to get ideas for the next SiG and we'd like to put it to the vote.

You guys decide what you want to build from this lot. Again, SnM Stuff will sponsor the SiG and they're prizes will be ace, the same as the ones they've offered for the Sci-Fi SiG...

I'll leave this poll open for one week. Get voting peeps..... :th:

Any conversation is welcomed....

Do the IDF use whirly birds... I'm pretty sure that they do.
Two birds one stone. IDF for me.
I'm about to start my entry into Aaron Newlands GB on Israel so two subjects would be really cool. I even have one... or two in mind.

Now I've got a dilemma, I've just ordered the Italeri 1/48 Chinook that I was planning to enter into the Cold War GB - if I don't bottle it of course, never built anything but AFV's before.

But I guess this must be fate................

Israeli it is then! :th: :th:

I went for Lockheed Martin, something a bit different.

IDF GBs are done all the time on places, and there is one running on YT just now, so I think you might struggle to get people who are already entering that one, to enter this as well.

Whirly Birds would be cool as well.

Even though Israeli is really cool I feel its being done alot atm with the YT group build going on.

I've gone for Lockheed Martin as lot of options and even some civilian choices.

I voted for the whirlybirds simply because I have a great option in the stash to build but I would be cool with the IDF or military wheels options as well.

The categories are all interesting, and I'd love to build something in each of them. I'm sure over time that we will get to them. But for now I must cast my vote. . . helicopters. I don't have a chopper in the stash (oh dear). This may be another cold war GB situation where I must think about what I ought to do. Any suggestions?

Funny you should say that Wappy - the postie delivered me a Chinook the other day!!

Never entered a GB before and never built anything but AFV, so perfect timing. I know the general rule is only ever try one new thing at a time, but I say - dare to be different!!!

Lol...... Yeah it was gonna win by a slight lead anyways.... But then pulling the old "airwolf/blue thunder" line and allowing vote jumping was an excellent move, I have entered forum voting where the results can change at the last moment where people change or hold off till the very last... :th:
Its a more exciting method in my book and leads to hearty discussions as this thread has shown....
Well done again guys....
