I'll kick off this week with my revell 1/24 shelby cobra for Pauls muscle car buddy build, managed to get some paint on at the weekend started with Ultimate gloss black primer then some badger minitaire chrome silver and the one coat (so far) of the badger ghost tint plasma fluid it still needs flat ting back and another coat but I like the colour so far

Work continues on the Zvezda 1/35 Panzerjager 1.

This week it's been primed and painted using Ultimate primer and then Tamiya German Grey. Decals are on - the microset darkened the paint a bit, but I'll be putting on a winter wash anyway so won't be noticible. Also I've done some detail painting on the tools etc.

Here’s a model of the Aichi B7A Ryuesi (Grace) made from the 1984 boxing of the Fujimi 1/72 kit. Base coat Taimya white primer, top coat AK Interactive Japanese Trainer Yellow from their Japanese paint set. The nose is SBS black, the decals came with the kit and the whole was given a top coat of Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear. The canopy framing is 0.7mm Aizu masking tape, prepainted and then applied.

This is something new for me. After about 50 years of using almost exclusively enamel paints and only recently using lacquers, I decided to get with the program and try acrylic paints too. Getting used to them has been difficult, it’s like spraying water and needs a whole new set of skills which I’m only slowly learning. So this model is the first one that came out half way decent. Of course, I would try it with a yellow scheme...

Hey gang,

These past two weeks I was able to complete my 1/12 RC211V 2003 Rossi "Valencia" from Tamiya. I am very pleased at how this turned out. Paints are Tamiya X and XF colours, TS 64, Alclad, and Mr.Color for the Fluorescent yellow and orange. Studio 27 carbon fibre decals were also used. It was 2K cleared with Gravity Colors 2K. It may not come through in the photos, but the fluorescent colors are very bright, and were not dulled by the 2K at all. More photos will be put in the members gallery area. Thanks for looking!

For the last time......

1/72 M&S rebox etc, etc ......

Tis done. Half the small bits are lost or the carpet monster has them. I don't care! This will now sit on the shelf until the space is required and there will then be a ceremonial smashing/burning/complete destruction which will be filmed for posterity or to annoy the haters ;)

Thanks for sticking with it!

Grinding along on the muscle car build. Just a quick mock up here. Revell 1/25 '71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda. Testors "officially licensed" Mopar color, plum crazy purple decanted from a spray can over Ultimate Grey primer. Many coats of Tamiya TS13 gloss clear. Continuing on the chrome parts and engine. Enjoying playing with the new forum buttons as well. Have a good weekend everyone. :thumb2:

Good evening gentleman, i have been working on this AMT 1/16 Scale 1965 Ford Mustang for Paul's Muscle Car Build.
The body, bonnet and doors where first primmed in Ultimate Grey then Ultimate Gelb. Then Tamiya TS-20 Matalic Green. The Under side is painted using Vallejo Model Air Red Rum. I used Ultimate Gloss Black for the seats which i saw that Paul had done then normal black primmer for the rest. I used a Chrome pen for the chrome parts which im really pleased with. I have to 2K the body etc then complete the underside. Plus add pipe work etc to the engine.
This is my first ever plastic car build and i think it will be my last as not getting the vibe from it. lots of flash, seem lines and injector pin marks etc
Cant watch the show tonight as away camping for mine and the misses birthday. TTFN, Steve

Here's my current entry into the WW1 GB - a 1/35 Resicast Ford T Vickers Gun Carrier. This is my first attempt at an all resin kit so taking all the necessary precautions to avoid the dust. The build has been reasonably straightforward although some of the tiny parts have taken some time to get cleaned up - only one part lost to the carpet monster so far. The build is just about done and ready for a hosing in Ultimate primer after some final fettling. Wheels & gun are dry fitted so they can be removed for painting.

Good evening everyone. I finally finished my Vindicator which was originally a Kotobukiya Frame Arms Zelfikar (have fun with that one Dan). Instead of making Dan read out all of the paints used I would just like to say a huge thank you to Paul and everyone who answered my many questions during this project. This is the first project I have ever airbrushed and all the help I received made it possible. Thank you as always for taking a look.

Takoms 1/35th Mark IV Male for the WWI Group build.

Started building the hull. No issues so far just needed a little filler here and there.

Poor Norman .... I hope he will survive....

This is the ICM 48 scale mig 25
It’s almost done .. just need to finish the ordinance .
This is a quick and easy kit to assemble. It’s not as rich on details as the AMK mig 31, but it’s fayrly good .
If you are planning on building this kit I would recommend aftermarket engine nozzles. They are a bit basic and found wanting some more detail. That is a shame because they are the focal point up it’s rear end. Image

Well Mathew, after 18 weeks the final reveal is now done. Sad it's come to an end, over joyed by everyone's support and reaction.
