I'll kick off with my joker he's nearly done but still a lot to do I got all the painting done mostly with badger minitaire paints and Ultimate primers I just need to do some weathering to his jacket and a couple of other little bits then he should be done

so this is my 1/32 Tamiya F-16CJ Block 50, main paints used were MRP with some alcad and Mr. color
lots of wiring added to the engine and wheel wells using Danny coremans fantastic f16 book as a guide so hopefully and accurate reproduction.

I have just finished my first bike, a Tamiya 1/12 RC213V. I used Decalas aftermarket decals which were great to work with. The main body color is Tamiya XF-84 dark iron.

I was surprised at how much work it took to build a bike and how time consuming all the paint is.

I quite like this time-zone business. It's now 10.20pm where I live and I've just put the final touches to this Welsh Models 1/144 Fokker F-27-500 in the 1980s East-West Airlines scheme, courtesy of Hawkeye. And where you live you won't start the show for hours yet. I can sit back, knock the top off a coldie and relax with time to spare before posting this. This one is a full resin kit with a few white metal bits thrown in. It's a bit rough in places but superior to the Eastern Express injection-moulded F-27-500. All the white paint is Tamiya, white primer and Pure white, the wings are my own version of Fokker grey mixed with Tamiya decanted lacquers and the green underside (which you really can't see here) is a slight variation on Tamiya X-15 green. The metallic bits are all painted using the AK Extreme Metal range, which I am becoming quite addicted to.

Starting getting some work down on the 1.48 Tamiya Spitfire for Tim's #Brit48 build. Premiered in black Ultimate and base coated with Mr Hobby 364 Aircraft Gray green.

Second time with this kit and scheme

Great kit, i can see me building many more of these. Sadly not as good a build as the purple one, had a little paint bleed through the decals in places.

* Primed in Tamiya Pink Primer
* Base painted in a mix of Tamiya TS-8 and 36
* Hobby Design decals are excellent
* Cleared in Pro Range 2k Clear
* Flated with 8000 & 12000 Micromesh
* Polished using Novus compounds
* Waxed with Splash Sealent wax

I have been playing around with my 3D printer some more this week. Here are a couple of the models I printed and painted.

Both models were downloaded from Thingiverse.com. They were printed on a Peopoly Moai SLA printer using clear resin. I used the standard layer height of 100 microns and am pleased with the resolution. Once printed the models were cleaned with IPA and cured under 405nm (nanometer) UV light.

Baby Groot:
Primed with Ultimate Gray primer and painted with Vallejo Model Air USA Flat Brown. I then created a wash using Vallejo Model Air Mahogany and plenty of Ultimate thinners. The eyes were painted with Vallejo Model Air Black and then Tamiya X-22 was brushed on to give a nice lasting shine. The moss effect was done by using Citadel Dry Niblet Green.

Yoda:
Primed with Ultimate Gray primer and painted with Vallejo Model Air Eau de Nil (Duck Egg Green). The robe was then brush painted with Vallejo Model Air Aged White. Details were added by mixing brown with the base colors to add shadow and then blended with a dry brush. His cane was painted (poorly) with Vallejo Model Air Mahogany. I didn't want to deal with his eyes so I am pretending that they are just closed and he is deep in thought. If you disagree please remember that Yoda is strong with the Force and can choke you through the internet.

Second model and first ever armoured vehicle since returning to this hobby. Still on a huge learning curve, especially with weathering, that is why the tank is relatively clean. Tamiya 1/35 Chieftain Tank.[url=https://flic.kr/p/QNXBi3][img]https://farm5.staticflickr.com

It's been quite a good 2 weeks for modelling since the last show as I managed to finish off the 1/72 Condor MiG-25U Foxbat.

Made some more progress on the Resicast Ford-T gun carrier for the WW1 GB. Following painting with Vallejo ModelAir & ModelColor the bodywork weathering was done with streaks of oils, and the underside has been muddied up using Mig Pigments with odourless enamel thinners acting as a binder. The wheels have been painted up and are now ready for dirtying before attaching to the chassis.

HK Models 1/32 Gloster Meteor F.4

This is a huge let down of a kit for me, not cheap to buy and lacking in many details, one being that no engines are provided in the kit, basic detail to say the least, non-the-less it's the only 1/32 meteor on the market, tonight I'll be doing some scratching building detail work in the cockpit, to improve things a little.

I still refuse tom endorse any Ultimate advertising in my pictures.

Moving back to the HobbyBoss King Tiger after leaving it whilst I worked on the Van Diorama for Telford.

Most of the engine deck completed. I think that the PE lets this kit down. Some of the parts are a bit iffy on fit.

Still enjoying it though.

So As i did say i would begetting back on with the wing nut wings salmson. I did have a scary moment when i couldn't find the bits i needed to finish the kit but they have been found so now it can crack on. The lower wings have been glued on same as the wheels along with the tail parts. the rigging has been started as in with the control wires. EZLine white thin was used for this with albion alloys used to represent the turn buckles.
On the evening after telford i also built the two etch planes, they measure around 2" across so they are a little fiddly
