1:72 Leopard 2A7 up-armored (?)

Post by GPalileo »

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd start a build log for my latest 1/72 scale model. It's based off of Revell's Leopard 2A6/A6M, with sheet styrene updates. I originally wanted to base it purely off of the 2016 version of the 2A7v; however I ended up adding elements of the PSO, A7+, and A7DK models (hence why I cannot think of a proper name.

Here are the pictures from the past few days (apologies for the potato phone pictures).

Lol, it feels as if, after the 2A6, all the companies started throwing out all these minor variants and calling them Leo 2A7 "insert random characters here".

I'm thinking of applying the German desert scheme - the green and beige one used by the PZH 2000's...just to make it more confused :ugeek:

Should I scratch build some APS modules for the thing? Maybe somewhat resembling Trophy or that ADS on Leo 2 Revolutions.

Desert camo might be a nice option. Keep up the good job.

What is the brand of this kit? Revell?
