AK Interactive Extreme metal paints go on a treat through the Apex.
Even I can get good results!

I’m currently building Revell’s Suzuki RG 500 motorcycle.
The bike that Barry Sheene won his 1976 world championship on and successfuly defended in 1977.
This model is the Matchbox kit reboxed by Revell, so it’s not the best kit!
That said I’m determined to do it justice!
Hence using the latest products to make the most of this kit!
Extreme metal steel has enhanced a very basic replica of a motorcycle engine into a decent representation.
It’s not Tamiya but “hey” it’s a 40 year plus model.
Modern tech can work on low tech kits, to enhance there appearance.

I'll have to try them out. I've been an Alclad fanboy for some time now. Namely, it's hard for me to find AK stuff on the shelf anywhere.

hi aurOra145.
If you can source these paints, they are worth the effort.
Can’t praise them enough.
They are enamel based, but airbrush like an acrylic.
Dry like true metal. Amazing!!

That was my first use of AK metal paint. I rather liked it.
