RAL Help....

I have a project in mind and I'm finding it extremely tough to find the right RAL colours.

I need...

RAL 7031 Blue/Grey
RAL 8025 Brown
RAL 9010 White

I can't find one paint manufacturer that does any of these. A few say the white is gloss white, but it's not, it's an off white and Vallejo say they do they brown but, it's way off....

Can anyone suggest any paints without the need for mixing?

HELP........ :th:

I can't help much with other... but isn't Gunze Sangyo -H001 White a glossy colour ?
I don't have a bottle at home though, so can't be 100% sure.
You can also try H021 which is Off White (a little touch of greyish) which also seems glossy.

Thanks Radek - Definitely don't want gloss colours. The H0001 is just white gloss so, no good. I've got the H021 and thought of that, but it's the wrong kind of off white...lol. The RAL9010 seems to be quite 'creamy'!

Using a colour matching programme humbrol 92 is a close match to RAL7031.
Revell 36381 brown for the RAL8025
Vallejo 70842 matt acrylic modelcolour white for the RAL9010
Are these close? All acrylic Is that what you mean Lee?
Hope this helps.

White is white I wouldn't worry about that one too much

Vallejo 70.825 model colour looks to be a good match to the brown

Vallejo panzer aces 325 looks a good match for the blue.

Both model colours though they can be airbrushed fine, they just take a little getting used too :thumb2:

Yeah I came to the same conclusion as Paul using the iModelkit app. Got 325 Panzer Aces for the blue/grey and the 825 model colour for the brown.
