Scalemates Hardware Failure

Scalemates went down (not unusual) but this time it is due to a server hardware failure. Oh gawd I hope they had proper backups. The thought of re-entering 600 odd model kits into my Scalemates stash makes me feel like leaving the hobby...

I hate when my hard ware fails..I think there are pills for that the Russian spammers keep flogging here
Hopefully they had backups on cloud/offsite storage

Everything is off site stored nowadays, so likely they will have the data safe and sound still

While Scalemates is great fun, this is one of the reasons that I keep my own database where I can look after and nurture it.

I'm just not that clever or industrious

Course you might suffer your own hardware failure ( I don't wish that on anyone) then it's for nought unless you do your backups regular.
