Misc. WW2 stuff for the back of a Jeep

So I've got a few packs and rolled tarps and crates to drop in the back of a 1:35 Willys MB I have on deck. But I'm having trouble finding ammo cans for the M1919. And I'd really love to stick some other miscellaneous stuff back there too: a bucket, a liquor bottle or two, field mess kit, SCR-536, maybe a C rations box or canteen cup.

Where do you gents go to buy these random, small detail parts?

I've ended up with a small stash of these things from sets I've picked up along the way.

Tamiya & Valuegear both do Stowage sets:

Miniart are good for bottles and general crates & barrels.

If you search for "1/35 stowage" it should set you in the right direction.

Yea, when I was still building as a teen I had a tackle box full of unused parts and scraps from several years of kits.

The Value Gear stuff looks fantastic. But it just looks a bit too neat for the look I'm trying to achieve. Great for a cargo truck from logistics where they have to pack neat to utilize the space in the most efficient manner. Not so much the rear of a Jeep where line troops are likely to just toss kit in to head down the back to Bn HQ. I might pick up the Tamiya kit and maybe the US infantry equipment and Jerry Can kits as well.

My thanks sir, it looks like there are a number of good possibilities there.

I found a few good items at Legend Productions as well. The only problem with most of the after market stuff is the wait for international shipping. I have a few kits just sitting that I can't touch because I don't have the parts I need yet.
