revell golf cab

Post by matthewp »

Hi all as my first build has come to a end apart from a few touch ups i thought i would make my first forum post and show you guys what ive been upto. This is my first build in 15 years the tools have come along way since i last did a model my inventory has built quite a bit which made this easier for me.
Revell golf cab 1:24
Ultimate white primer
model colour paints
tamiya clear coat mixed with Ultimate thinner all sprayed through a cheap airbrush... now ordered a apex
micro sol/set used and to my surprise i enjoyed applying the decals
and a load of patience
just need to get the brush out and touch up a few spots and then wipe it all down..

Ya this looks great, well built model indeed
Good work for returning to the hobby

The subject brings up old first year university memories of a snobby girl at a party bragging about having one of these cars.

I said “neither should you” and walked away

She was quite attractive if I remember correctly.
I thought I was making inroads,so to speak, with the Volkswagen angle but nope I got the attitude

She wasn’t going to Uni, rather working and was self conscious about that
...and there’s the story of my love life
