Hello All,

Lurker for a while but thought i'd introduce myself!

I work in the game & film industry as a camera operator, so i'm constantly on the ole PC or away on set being creative for other projects... I needed something to get me working on my own project with my hands away from the PC! I have been watching/reading many sites on this fantastic art form for a while now, but finally took the plunge (into my wallet) and bought all the bells and whistles! Paints/Tools/Airbrush the lot. I'm a huge follower of WW1 and WW2, so modelling vehicles/personnel from that era is right up my strasse. But really up to trying anything, especially making a few dioramas so they can "come alive".

I've just finished my first model, a 1/35 scale WW2 British War Correspondent from Bronco. I actually did a build video of it but not sure where I can post that on the forums to get feedback on it. I loved every bit of it... par a few fatalities (seen in the video) But all a huge learning curve! the idea of it was to not only record my process, but mainly so I could look back and improve, others can comment with tips/tricks and maybe it will get the lone lurker who has yet to leap into the fun of scale modelling seeing it from a newbie pov! For now i'll post it here! :) Hope that's ok!

I look forward to posting more and seeing everyones hard and creative work!
Robert.

The video and your skill are impressive, especially as this is your first model/figure

:welcome: and well done on the figure - I'm just tackling my first 1/35 figures just now and not finding it easy to paint the skin tones!

Thanks ElCapitan! I bought a few heads yesterday, going to try a few techniques i've seen about the interweb. It's deffo the soul of the model and would like to get at least a few details in from the highlighting.
