Ian G.,

As I mentioned in the build thread, this is an outstanding build. The quality of the modeling, colors, details, etc. are all first class. Your craft in modeling this bird in 1/48 will stand up to any other in this scale.

N-I-C-E!!

Ben

Beautiful work as always Ian

I've looked at the Hataka Orange Line a couple of times now but haven't pulled the trigger as yet - are there any gotchas to be aware of aside from them being lacquer based?

Thanks Neil. The only thing would say, is it’s best to use Hataka’s own lacquer thinner.
Thin 50:50, or even 60:40, in favour of thinner. I use 15psi, or thereabouts. Apply in thin coats, and build up the colour.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Ian that's really useful - I'm very tempted to give them a go an a build I've got planned for later in the year. :cheers2:
