Finished my Nighthawk this week… or "An exercise in how to break off and fix an antenna repeatedly, to the point where it consists solely of CA glue" as i have come to know it ...after getting an unexpected Mojo-boost during the last two Live-Shows!
It's Tamiyas 1/48 F-117A, upgraded with the full CMK resin detail set and some Eduard PE. Painted in Ultimate Primer, Ammo Acrylics and AK Xtreme Metal. Only the throttle stick was scratched, but there's a lot of detail hidden in the kit that only needs a bit of work and proper references to show off. I think the RAM effect with a hint of stressed skin and replaced panels turned out well, although the lighting blurrs out a lot of it. But my mission was accomplished.. the only things that are black on this model are the tires and parts of the cockpit

Finished my Finnish Dornier 17-Z2, ICM 1/72 kit, built from the box, painted in winter scheme for a 1942 aircraft using Ultimate primer & Mr Hobby Aqueous. Only thing added was a superfabric seatbelt and some Uschi antenna wire. Nice wee kit but a pain to mask.

Major surgery has been done and will continue to open up body panels to get fitment, seams closed and painting under control
Figure is Jimmy Flintstone Midget Racer with w&N oil paints on helmet, face and pants..French Flag scheme blue white red planned
Lots of modelling to go still. Working Friday, so may pop in to live show if I can, otherwise for a good weekend.

Painted in red metallic nail varnish
Badger minitaire brass monkey for the face mask
C1 powder for the worn edges

So Mathew this week I have suffered from the BF109 Mojo destroyer (2 kits Normaned!!!)

So I choose to finish this little practice piece off. A 1/10 figure head from a scrap box brought for just 50 pence.

Primed in U.M.P black, the face was painted using the Scale 75 flesh paint set, thin layers built up until happy. The helmet was a mixture of Model color brown's (7 in total) and googles strap Model Color 3 different greens. Goggles lens were painted with Model Colour deck tan and the flection was Model Color medium grey.

The goggles were finished off with one of my contact lens, cut down to shape and glued with canopy glue.

Going to add a little wire at some point to the head set but I'm calling this now finished. Sorry for the long ramble Dan, but hope you like it.

You may be wondering what happened to the almost complete Fokker 50 that I posted last week. The cat ate one of its propellers so it remains incomplete.

So, in its place, here is a 1/144 Compas Airlines Airbus A.300-600 circa 1900. It was created using a combination of a Braz Models A.300-600 fuselage and wings and other bits and pieces from the Revell Airbus Beluga kit. It was primed in Tamiya white and grey primers, the wings are my own concoction of Airbus Grey, the lower fuselage is Tamiya AS-5 Luftwaffe Light Blue, the upper surface is Tamiya AS-8 USN Blue, the leading edges are Tamiya TS-83 and the fan blades are Tamiya TS42 Light Gun Metal. All were decanted and applied using Badger Sotar, Patriot and Xtreme Patriot airbrushes. The wing corogard panels are Liveries Unlimited decals and the rest are from the Hawkeye Models CDS-107 set.

Been working on my Bandai 1/144 Hoth diorama. Put together the AT AT and the Snow Speeder. Will prime them in ISM Black Primer. Really thinking about the way in which I am going to pose the models, mainly the AT AT's legs when tied with the tow cable. Moreover, how I am going to turn the Daddy Pig mug into the Rebel Base?
Shame that means I have to watch ESB over and over again.
Just want to say that F-117 is stunning.

Hello folks this week i spend time on the tail of the He 219 i had to corect left elevator and left rudder flap as the holes for little correcting rod were on bad side also decided to do slight modification and make A-7 version thus i need to add little tail bump and scratch rear warning radar antena and foward facing antenas ill have to place at 45° degrees instead of being vertical. Hope you like and always have a nice weekend! Ill pass this pive as I am at friends bday party.

Aaaaaaaannnd..... almost the same pic as last week of the 1/32 Tamiya F-16C Fighting Falcon. Astra Decals aftermarket deecals (or daycals) marathon finished including gazillions of stencils which took ages. Tried to cut up the fin markings as per an aircraft that visited RAF Lossiemouth and am quite happy with the result. Dangly bits dry fitted and now awaiting some MRP varnishes kindly sent by Matt which I shall test on the paint mule before selecting the bestestest option. Thanks Matt

But more work done on Project rat rod
Ultimate grey primer.
Ammo by mig old rust, dark rust, shadow rust, medium rust and light rust used.
Seats are Zero textured black.
Engine is Ultimate glass black primer and alclad 2 chrome .
Weld seams are made from green stuff and dry brushed with necron compound. Then given a coat of null oil and a both strong tone and soft tone inks.

I’ve been working on Ebbros lotus 49b painted with zero paints for the body work and varies alclad paints for the metal parts.
Detailed the engine with wires for the spark plugs and tube for the fuel lines.

Tonight i give you some more pictures of my Revell 1;2700 Imperial Star Destroyer. More fibre optics added this week. Still got about 24 meters of fibre to Add. Thankss

Moebius Orion III Space Clipper - 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Been working on this on and off for a friend and this week it’s nearing completion.

Primed in Ultimate Ultimate Grey Primer, then Mr Hobby Base White 1000 and finally Mr Hobby Mr Color GX-1 White. Now on to the decals. Should be finished next week with a final matt clear coat and some weathering. Some fit issues and filling required, but it’s look okay now.

This week I have been working on a climax, it’s taken a lot work playing with some very small parts but my tool has been splendid and done the job !

One big lump of resin, airbrushed with Ultimate Ultimate Primer, with a mix of Tamiya Acrylics, and Mr Hobby paints. Airbrushed with the details picked out with paint on a brush, changed my mind over the colours, leading to a slight crazed effect on the lighter brown as the first coat hadn't quite dried fully, I left it alone as I liked the effect. (My excuse and I'm sticking to it). Windsor and Newton Black oilpaint used to bring out the details, pins provided by the chintzy sewing shop down the road. Might see if they want to display it...
