This is my third entry into the figure GB.
She's Hiroko, so named by her creator the owner of Fugitive Miniatures.
I know where the name comes from so I'm going to keep it

It's a spectacular piece of moulding and I'll certainly enjoy working on her.








I'll probably be starting her sometime in November, depending on how clear the bench is.

That's gonna build into a very nice figure, look forward to seeing that started mate

The face looks a little off to me but might just be the lack of paint.

I find that happens a lot with figures. They always look a bit odd until there's a bit of primer or face paint on it.

Your testing your skills now mate. I have not even mastered the caucasian western skin tone yet and here is you attempting an oriental / asian skin tone.

Will be interested to see how you do it and what skin tone paints you use.

Your third figure! But what a corker. Another one to look forward to.

The build is six months long, I wanted to make sure that I'd be building something on topic all throughout it.
I have no idea how long it will take me to knock one of these out so I figured three with fill the time.
I also wanted something that IF.. I managed to slap some paint on these things the right way they'd look nice on the self outside the man cave.

I must say Orsome choice, but I am biased.

Only slightly haha.

This will be a nice piece for display in any room, besides she might look a little out of place next to all those tanks in the den.

Haha... Maybe just a bit. I will probably put her next to my Katana display in the rec room.

Amazing model, lots of details and as I look at it, painting it will be a great effort... Just don't do any of those ... Picasso things on her - she's more into ... Rubens

That's the plan.
The build for this actually will start in a few days too.

So here's a bit of a vid that I did a couple of days ago.
I've started construction of Hiroko, she's going together better than most of the other resin kits that I've done.
Hopefully I'll have the construction done and she'll be primed by the end of the weekend.

The construction is finished now.
Mostly. There's a few tiny bits and pieces that need tending and a bit of clean up.
Hopfully by the weekend she'll have some primer on her.

Just a small update. While I'm stuck as to how I want to proceed with Hiroko, I decided to build a base for her. A simple picture frame, some DAS, popcicle sticks and some dried baby's breath and I'm hoping it will be an oriental garden.
I'll blend the base that she came with into the base and hopefully it will transition well.
The baby's breath I'll be painting a light pinkish colour to represent cherry blossoms. Then I'll build a small rock curb and sand path for her to stand on.
Hopefully it will work.

They quite alot of color on their cheeks and around their eyes. Maby some oxidrot as rouge

Though I may skip the first... umm dude... I like the look of the second one. She's more modern than what I was going for though. Still that colour around the eyes is pretty cool.

And she's Done!
One thing I'm not is a figure painter. I'm terrible at it actually. :O
One way to change that is to paint figures. Lots of them.

For your first Fugitive minatures figure mike, i think you did dam well buddy.

Like it a lot , very nicely painted, always nice to do some figures to relax between builds , that's what I do
